The Drug Policy Modelling Program is working with the National Drug & Alcohol Research Centre to develop a comprehensive whole of community alcohol and other drugs (AOD) prevention and education framework for NSW in order to reduce the occurrence and cost of harms from AOD use.

The project involves:

  • Undertaking an evidence review and systematic analysis of the evidence in support of prevention and early intervention strategies
  • Extensive engagement with stakeholders in the development of the Framework

The Framework is expected to be finalised by end 2024.
